This subnetting tutorial has four main lessons with review and learning sessions incorporated into it. The first lesson is an optional basic math review. Please review this lesson if you feel a little rusty with your math skills. The second lesson covers the binary and decimal numbering systems. The third lesson covers the IP addressing scheme. The fourth lesson covers the subnetting process. There is also a practice page with quizzes available to you with answers for instant feedback. There are links to binary to decimal calculators and other helpful sites for successful completion of the subnetting process. The calculators will allow you to see the ones and zeros for a binary number and the decimal equivalent. I highly encourage you to go through all of the sections. Having a good understanding of each section is crucial to being a competent subnetting professional.
